we’re worried that the roads will be deserted since new year falls on feb7? is it true that the lunar new year celebrations in korea can last up to 2 weeks? will there be public transport like bus or taxi that we can take to see around? will the tourist attractions like the Daejanggeum, National Folk Museum, Seoul tower etc be closed during these two weeks? Also is there snow sledding in Everland or do we need to go to a ski resort for that?

I want to vacation with my daughter overseas, in South Korea. She’s 6 months old. What things will I have to think about (I am not at all worried about anything to do with bird flu, so it’s not an issue)?

Any answers from survivors–I mean, people who have vacationed there–would be especially helpful.

PS I speak Korean but have no Korean heritage.
